"ASSIGNED VEHICLE" RESPONSE
In the footage shared on social media, a citizen approached the vehicle moving in the emergency lane and reacted to the driver. The citizen asked the driver, "Ma'am, are you on duty? Do you have an official order right now?" to which the driver's response was "Assigned vehicle."

Following the controversial footage, police teams took action. The vehicle was identified, and the female driver's emergency rights were revoked, and a fine was imposed.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated: "The vehicle that unlawfully used the right of way with a light and sound warning signal (emergency lights) and violated the emergency lane in Beşiktaş, and whose footage was shared on social media, has been identified. The right of way (emergency lights) on the vehicle has been revoked."
