The AK Party submitted a proposal to the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey regarding 'Amendments to Certain Laws,' which includes financial regulations. It was announced that the fee for paid military service, which is currently 333,089 TL, will be raised by 25.2% to 417,000 TL.
PAID MILITARY SERVICE FEE IS CHANGING
Güler stated, "The coefficient used in calculating the paid military service fee is being increased from 240,000 to 300,000. With this regulation, there will be a 25% increase in the paid military service fee, raising it to 416,000 TL. The newly generated resources will be allocated to the defense industry." Güler also mentioned, "The retirement bonus is not included in this proposal."
PAID MILITARY SERVICE FEE
The fee for paid military service covering the period from January to June 2026 was shared by the Ministry of National Defense. Accordingly, the fee for paid military service was set at 333,089 lira and 4 kuruş. With this increase, it will be the second raise since the beginning of the year.
