Firefighters responding to a fire at a factory in Kahramanmaraş were attacked by the factory owner and workers. One firefighter who was assaulted in the incident was taken to the hospital.

FLAMES RISING FROM THE FACTORY WERE CONTROLLED IN 25 MINUTES
According to the information obtained, the incident occurred in a fabric and dye factory located in the Erkenez area on the Gaziantep road in the Dulkadiroğlu district. Following a fire that broke out for an unknown reason in the factory, a large number of firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams, which reached the area in a short time, managed to control and extinguish the fire after approximately 25 minutes of work.
FACTORY OWNER AND WORKERS ATTACKED THE FIREFIGHTING TEAMS
After the fire was extinguished, while the teams were conducting cooling operations, it was claimed that the factory owner and workers argued with the firefighting teams. As the argument escalated, firefighter Furkan Ş. (27) was assaulted. The injured firefighter was taken to the hospital by the medical teams called to the scene. Meanwhile, factory workers also reacted to journalists taking pictures at the scene.
"SOME PEOPLE HERE ATTACKED US BEFORE WE EVEN INTERVENED"
Speaking about the incident, firefighter Kadir Üçok stated that they responded to the third major fire of the day, saying, "We came here and intervened. Before we even intervened, some people here attacked us. My friend is currently receiving treatment in the hospital. He will get a medical report." During the interview, firefighter Üçok was also intervened by the workers.
