The first statement from lawyer Rezan Epözdemir, who was released in the case he was tried for mediating bribery, has come. Epözdemir said, "Today, with the testimonies of the victim and witnesses heard, as well as the HTS and base records entered into the file, it has been revealed that the accusations against me are false, unlawful, and slanderous, which is why I was released."

REZAN EPÖZDEMİR HAS BEEN RELEASED
Lawyer Epözdemir, who was detained on August 10 on charges of 'bribery', 'aiding FETÖ', and 'political and military espionage' as part of two separate investigations initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was arrested on August 14 on the allegation of 'facilitating bribery'.
A release decision was made for Epözdemir in the 'bribery' case being heard in the 5th Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation with a judicial control measure in the form of a travel ban. It was decided to continue the detention of the dismissed Public Prosecutor Cengiz Çallı.
