A security camera footage has emerged regarding the accident in which Kadir Akbulut, who became a phenomenon with his motorcycle videos on social media, lost his life. It was learned that the young man had given his helmet to his girlfriend, who was a passenger on the motorcycle at the time of the accident.
Kadir Akbulut, known for his motorcycle videos on social media, passed away as a result of a horrific accident in the Manavgat district of Antalya. Security camera footage of the accident has emerged.
MOTORCYCLE COLLIDED WITH CAR AT INTERSECTION
The accident occurred late at night on Democracy Boulevard in the Manavgat district. According to the information obtained, Kadir Akbulut, who was riding a motorcycle with the license plate 07 CEF 424 heading towards the highway, collided with a car driven by Mehmet T. I., who was traveling on Mithatpaşa Street with the license plate 07 LNC 55 at the intersection. Many health and police teams were dispatched to the scene following a report to the 112 Emergency Call Center by citizens who witnessed the accident. In the tragic accident, motorcycle rider Kadir Akbulut, his passenger Melike D., the car driver Mehmet T. I., and the car passenger İsmehan I. were injured.

The injured were taken to the hospital by ambulance after the intervention of the 112 health teams at the scene. Despite all efforts at Manavgat State Hospital, the severely injured motorcycle rider Kadir Akbulut could not be saved and lost his life. It was learned that Kadir Akbulut, who worked as a bailiff at the Manavgat Courthouse and became a phenomenon on social media with his motorcycle videos, did not ride without a helmet, and during the accident, he gave his helmet to his friend who was a passenger on the motorcycle.

Meanwhile, security camera footage of the moment of the accident has emerged. The footage shows the collision between a car exiting the intersection and the motorcycle, followed by motorcycle rider Kadir Akbulut crashing into the vehicle and falling to the ground, while Melike D. was thrown several meters and fell onto the road.
