All flights at Imam Khomeini International Airport in the capital Tehran have been suspended following the attacks by the US and Israel on Iran. The Iranian Civil Aviation Organization has requested that passengers refrain from going to the airport until an official announcement is made regarding the resumption of flights.

The world began a new day with the joint attacks of the USA and Israel on Iran. While the two countries attacked many cities, especially the capital Tehran, Iran carried out attacks on US bases in the region and Israel.
THE AIRPORT IN TEHRAN HAS BEEN CLOSED
The Jamaran news site published a statement made by the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization. The statement included the phrase, "All flights at Imam Khomeini Airport have been suspended until further notice."
Passengers were asked not to go to the airport until an official announcement is made regarding the resumption of flights.
USA-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN AND IRAN'S RETALIATIONS
While the negotiation process between Iran and the USA continues, Israel and the USA launched joint attacks on Iran in the morning hours.
The Israeli Ministry of Defense announced that Israel has initiated a "preventive attack" on Iran. US President Donald Trump also stated that they have launched a "major operation" against Iran.
As part of the attacks, the cities of Tehran, Isfahan, Karaj, Qom, Tabriz, Bushehr, Kermanshah, and Ilam were targeted.
While Israel and Iran closed their airspace, a state of emergency was declared throughout Israel, and sirens were sounded. Warnings were issued directing the Israeli public to shelters before Iran's counterattacks.
The Iranian army announced that it has launched counterattacks against Israel with dozens of ballistic missiles and drones in response to the attacks by the USA and Israel.
Iran targeted simultaneous US bases in countries such as Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan with missile attacks, while the US naval base in Bahrain was hit.
