Israel has completely withdrawn from the Netzarim Corridor, which separates the northern and southern Gaza Strip, in accordance with the obligations of the ceasefire agreement reached with Hamas. As part of the agreement, the Netzarim Corridor was opened on January 27 for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip to cross from south to north. Gazans are currently crossing from south to north.
THEY DESTROYED MILITARY EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES
According to Israel's Public Broadcasting Corporation (KAN), prior to the withdrawal from the Netzarim Corridor, Israeli soldiers destroyed the remaining military equipment and facilities. Footage released to the press showed soldiers setting fire to materials in the camps.

The Netzarim Corridor is known as one of the most critical military points that divides Gaza into northern and southern parts. The demilitarization of the region indicates signs that Israel is stepping back from its plans to establish a permanent military presence in northern Gaza.
