Israel officially announced its invasion following attacks on Lebanon. Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz stated that they would destroy all houses in the villages and towns along the Israeli border in Lebanon.
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced that they will maintain their occupation of southern Lebanon, where they are continuing ground attacks.
"WE WILL DESTROY ALL HOUSES"
In a statement regarding the ground attacks they are carrying out in Lebanon, Katz said they would destroy all houses in the villages and towns along the Israeli border in Lebanon.
Katz stated that the Israeli army would continue its occupation by deploying to southern Lebanon and would control the area up to the Litani River.
RETURN OF 600,000 PEOPLE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED
Katz expressed that they would not allow the return of more than 600,000 displaced residents from southern Lebanon and emphasized that they would carry out similar destruction in the villages and towns along the Israeli border as they did in Gaza.
Katz threatened that they would implement the destruction they carried out in the cities of Rafah and Beit Hanoun in the Gaza Strip along the Israeli border in Lebanon.
ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON LEBANON
In a statement made by the Israeli army on March 2, it was reported that sirens were activated in the northern part of the country after missiles were detected being fired from Lebanon.
Later, the Israeli army announced that it had launched airstrikes across Lebanon, targeting the capital Beirut, and decided to expand its ground occupation in Lebanon, where it conducted intense attacks from the air and sea.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported in its latest statement that 1,247 people had lost their lives in the attacks carried out by Israel since March 2.
The Disaster Management affiliated with the Lebanese government announced that, due to Israel's occupation and attacks, the number of forcibly displaced people in Lebanon has officially exceeded 1 million 162 thousand.
