The logo prepared for Pope Leo XIII, the spiritual leader of the Catholic Church and the Head of State of the Vatican, for his first foreign visit to Turkey has been shared with the public. The logo, which contains elements that draw attention with their meanings, strongly emphasizes both the 1700th anniversary of Nicaea and the message of unity and dialogue intended to be established between the East and the West, featuring the Çanakkale Bridge, baptismal waters, the symbol of the Trinity, and the Jubilee Cross.
The spiritual leader of the Catholic Church and the President of the Vatican City, Pope Leo XIV, made his first foreign visit to Turkey. The first stop of Pope Leo during his visit to Turkey was Anıtkabir, after which he met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Presidential Complex.

BRIDGE CONNECTING EAST AND WEST
The silhouette of the bridge at the center of the logo was inspired by the Çanakkale Bridge. This visual represents one of the main messages of the visit, the theme of "the meeting of Asia and Europe, East and West." The bridge also symbolizes the call for strengthening dialogue between cultures and beliefs.
BAPTISMAL WATERS AND THE 1700TH ANNIVERSARY OF NICEA
The wave symbols located under the bridge bring together two different meanings. The first is the image of "baptismal water," which holds significant importance in the Christian faith. The other meaning refers to the 1700th anniversary of the First Council of Nicaea, which forms the main agenda of the Pope's visit, referencing Lake Iznik. This element reinforces the messages of "rebirth, purification, and unity of faith."
TRINITY AND JUBILEE CROSS TOGETHER IN THE LOGO
In the upper left section of the logo, there are three interlocking rings. These rings symbolize the Holy Trinity, representing the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in Christianity.
