A "CHARGING FEE" OF 45 TL WAS ADDED TO THE BILL
The incident that occurred at a popular venue in Kadıköy quickly became a hot topic. It was revealed that a charge of 45 TL was reflected on the bill of a customer who was charging their mobile phone. This fee added to the customer's 10,000 TL bill caused a significant stir on social media.
THE MINISTRY OF TRADE TOOK ACTION
After receiving intense reactions, the Ministry of Trade intervened. Ministry inspectors conducted an inspection of the establishment under the Consumer Protection Regulation.
A FINE WAS IMPOSED
As a result of the investigations, an administrative fine was imposed on the establishment. Additionally, it was learned that the venue in question was referred to the Unfair Pricing Board. It was stated that the process is being carried out meticulously under the supervision of the Ministry of Trade.
