After returning to Tarsus, the suspect strangled his wife Ferdane Tehçi (37) to death and then drove to Adana. Upon arriving at his father-in-law's house in Adana, Mehmet Tehçi also slit the throats of his father-in-law Yusuf Tehçi and mother-in-law Hüsne Tehçi, who were at the breakfast table. He ended the life of his sister-in-law Semiha Tehçi by stabbing her in the heart.
