Samsunspor, which lost 3-1 to Antalyaspor in the Super League, parted ways with German coach Thomas Reis at 03:30 at night.
'WE PARTED WAYS QUICKLY'
Samsunspor President Yüksel Yıldırım made statements regarding Thomas Reis's departure, saying, 'The team played poorly again in the Antalyaspor match. This is not 1, not 2, not 3. It's the combination of the results from the last 10 weeks. There is no improvement either. We had given our coach a chance after the Trabzonspor match. It didn't work out. We parted ways quickly.'
YÜKSEL YILDIRIM ANNOUNCED THE NEW COACH
President Yüksel Yıldırım also announced the team's new coach following Thomas Reis's departure. In his statement, Yıldırım noted that a principle agreement had been reached with German coach Thorsten Fink, who was last in charge of the Belgian representative Genk.

Following Yüksel Yıldırım, a statement was also made from the Samsunspor social media account, stating, "Our club has reached a principle agreement with experienced German coach Thorsten Fink. Thorsten Fink will come to Samsun tomorrow (Sunday), and further developments regarding the process will be shared. Respectfully announced to the public."
