In the voting held in the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), the AK Party's candidate Orhan Özdemir and the MHP's candidate Fatma Çeliker were elected as members of the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK). The decision was also published in the Official Gazette.

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Speaker Tekin Bingöl to determine 2 new members allocated to the AK Party and MHP group in the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK).

NEW MEMBERS ANNOUNCED

After the off-agenda speeches, the proposal submitted by the AK Party to the TBMM Presidency regarding the General Assembly's agenda and work schedule was discussed. With the accepted proposal, it was decided to close the General Assembly upon the completion of the RTÜK member selection. Subsequently, elections were held for the vacant memberships on October 24, 2025, and November 1, 2025, at RTÜK.

In the election, 279 members of parliament voted. As a result of the elections, the AK Party's candidate, former RTÜK Deputy Chairman Orhan Özdemir, and the MHP's candidate, Head of the RTÜK Public Opinion, Broadcasting Research and Measurement Department Fatma Çeliker, were elected as RTÜK members.
