The number of SMEs supported by KOSGEB is expected to reach 51,000 by the end of the year, with a target of 52,000 for the following year. Economic development is aimed through digital transformation and export support for SMEs.

The number of SMEs supported by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Support Administration (KOSGEB) is aimed to reach 51,000 by the end of the year and 52,000 next year.

According to the 2025 Central Government Budget Law Proposal, efforts to support the industry, production, and investments for the development of SMEs continue unabated.

THE COMPETITIVENESS OF SMEs WILL BE INCREASED

Different supports are provided to help SMEs and entrepreneurs in the country reach an innovative, technological, and competitive structure, and to increase their share in economic and social development. The rapid growth of SMEs, along with supports for digital transformation and capacity development, is aimed at contributing to the goals of the Century of Turkey. In this context, while 48,761 SMEs were supported by KOSGEB last year, it is projected that this number will increase to 51,000 by the end of the year. The number of SMEs to be supported is planned to reach 52,000 next year, 53,000 in 2026, and 54,000 in 2027.

THE NUMBER OF WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS IS INCREASING

It is expected that KOSGEB will support the investment expenses of 120 businesses regarding digital transformation next year. It is aimed that 143 businesses will benefit from this support in 2026 and 156 in 2027. The number of women who are entitled to receive an entrepreneurship certificate from the presidency is targeted to reach 52,500 in 2025, 55,000 in 2026, and 57,500 in 2027. It is projected that 50,000 women will receive this certificate by the end of the year.

The number of individuals entitled to receive this certificate is expected to reach 114,000 by the end of the year, 115,000 next year, 116,000 in 2026, and 118,000 in 2027. The number of women entrepreneurs supported by the presidency is also targeted to be 8,500 by the end of 2025 and in 2026, and 8,750 in 2027. The share of supports provided to women within entrepreneurship supports is projected to be 27% next year and 27.5% in 2027.

THE EXPORT SHARES OF SMEs WILL BE INCREASED

With the provided supports, it is aimed to increase the share of SMEs in exports. Next year, the share of SMEs in exports is aimed to be 34%, 36% in 2026, and 38% in 2027. Targets have also been set to increase activities in the manufacturing industry within the budget proposal. The share of the manufacturing industry within KOSGEB supports is projected to be 74% in 2025, 75% in 2026, and 76% in 2027.

SUPPORT FOR DOMESTIC PRODUCTION WILL ALSO INCREASE

The number of businesses receiving capacity development support from KOSGEB is planned to be 2,200 next year, 2,250 in 2026, and 2,300 in 2027. Efforts will also be made to support domestic products in the country. In this context, it is targeted that the number of products supported for domestic production by KOSGEB will be 15 in 2025, and the number of businesses to be supported in green transformation is aimed to reach 1,100.
