Enes Özçelik, who recorded a video of his 40-year-old vehicle that he couldn't sell in Eskişehir and stated that he is open to trade offers, received proposals that made everyone laugh. Özçelik expressed that he even forgot where he parked the car and found it after 2-3 months, saying, "There are offers for half-eaten döner, some offer 1 liter of cola, and others offer a case of water."
Enes Özçelik, who is engaged in trade in Eskişehir, resorted to an interesting method to sell his 40-year-old car that he bought in the past. Özçelik, who recorded a video of the vehicle, stated that he set a price of 55 thousand TL for the car. He mentioned that he could exchange his car for many items, including a bottle of cola, through messages he received on social media.
HE EVEN FORGETS WHERE HE PARKED THE CAR
Özçelik stated that he received many interesting barter offers, such as a döner kebab or 1 liter of cola, and said he responded to the messages with a smile. He expressed that he sometimes forgets where he parked the car and wants to sell it as soon as possible.
"SOMEONE OFFERED A BITE-TAKEN DÖNER"
Speaking about his post on social media, Enes Özçelik said, "I bought it from someone on the internet, I don't remember at all. It must be a 1986 model. I haven't been interested in the car at all; I forgot about it for 3 months. We are tradesmen, I thought I would post a video while stopping in front of the market. It was God's work, the video went viral. People are making different comments; someone offered a bite-taken döner, there are offers for 1 liter of cola, and someone offered a pack of water. In the end, I wrote 'sold,' but even 15 minutes ago, they sent a message saying, 'If you're selling, I'll take it,'" he expressed.
"WE SAID WE'D MAKE A PROFIT BUT WE PUT IT ASIDE"
Enes Özçelik, who stated that he wants to sell the vehicle, said, "At first, we set a price of 55 thousand. We thought we would buy and sell it, make a profit, but when things got busy, we put the vehicle aside. Then we forgot where we put it; it turned out we left it in front of a shop in the industrial area. We thought we would have the electrical installation done and sell it ready for inspection without any hassle. There was no longer a need; we bought other cars. I thought I would post such a video, and it also went viral. People should have fun; there is nothing left to entertain. I am happy; let them have fun. I will really sell the car. I can exchange it for a mobile phone, for cola worth its value, or for anything that can be converted to cash. It is excess need," he said.
