UEFA has announced that the opening match of the 2028 European Football Championship (EURO 2028) will be held in Cardiff, the capital of Wales, while the final match will take place in London, the capital of England.
In a statement from UEFA, it was announced that the opening match of EURO 2028 will be hosted at the Welsh National Stadium in Cardiff on June 9, 2028.
FINAL AT WEMBLEY STADIUM
It was stated that the semi-finals will be held on July 4-5, 2028, and the final match will take place at Wembley Stadium in London on July 9, 2028.
Additionally, it was expressed that the draw for the EURO 2028 qualifiers will take place on December 6, 2026, in Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland.
The championship, which will be jointly organized by England, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, will be held with the participation of 24 countries.
