THE JANITOR'S APARTMENT WAS USED AS A STORAGE
Teams from the Bornova Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau reached the trail of a suspect identified as engaging in drug trafficking during their field studies in Yeşilova Neighborhood. Police teams determined that the individual named B.Z. used two different addresses for drug trafficking, particularly using the janitor's apartment of an apartment building as a storage referred to as a 'stash'.
THE STASH BURST
Simultaneous raids were conducted at the identified addresses in accordance with a search warrant obtained from the duty prosecutor. During detailed searches, a total of 29,259 synthetic drug pills hidden in three large boxes and 38 grams of marijuana in two jars were seized from the janitor's apartment.
THE CRIMINAL RECORD TURNED OUT TO BE EXTENSIVE
During the operation, it was determined that 35-year-old B.Z., who was taken into custody, had numerous records for various crimes such as 'drug trafficking (TCK 188), resisting to prevent duty, violation of Law No. 6136 (firearms), intentional injury, and theft from a vehicle' according to the General Information Scan (GBT) conducted.
HE WAS ARRESTED
After his procedures at the police station, drug dealer B.Z. was brought to the courthouse and was arrested by the court for the crime of 'manufacturing and trafficking of drugs or stimulants' and sent to prison.
