Kemal Cingöz, the President of the Edirne Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, stated that they received requests from bakers for the pide to be priced at 30 TL this year, compared to 20 TL last year. Cingöz announced that this year, the 350-gram pide will be sold for 30 TL in Edirne. He wished that the announced price would be beneficial for everyone.

Cingöz said, "The price of pide has been determined according to the conditions of the day. The prices across Turkey are 30 TL for 350 grams of pide and 25 TL for 300 grams. The requested price here is also 30 TL for 350 grams. In some districts, the price will be 25 TL for 300 grams. The price we provide is valid for plain pide. Those who want pide with egg can pay the difference to the bakery and have it made with egg," he said.
