Under the protocol between PERDER and the Meat and Milk Institution, beef minced meat will be sold at a fixed price of 485 TL, beef cubed meat at 510 TL, and butter at 384 TL in Istanbul until the end of the year; the products will be made available to consumers in many local markets throughout the city.
The Istanbul Retailers Association (PERDER) and the Meat and Milk Institution have signed a protocol to provide consumers with red meat and butter at economical prices throughout Istanbul. The arrangement will be valid until the end of the year. PERDER Board Member Faruk Güzeldere announced that they have fixed the prices of red meat and butter until December 31, aiming to protect consumers against increasing economic difficulties.
GROUND BEEF 485 TL, CUBED BEEF 510 TL
Güzeldere stated that the products provided by the Meat and Milk Institution will be delivered to consumers through local markets across Istanbul and provided the following information:
- Ground beef: 485 TL / kg
- Cubed beef: 510 TL / kg
In the same context, the price of butter will also be fixed at 384 TL.
Güzeldere emphasized that local chain markets have been trying to protect consumers against inflation for a long time through discounts and price stabilization practices on various product groups.
