IBB'S PROPOSAL FOR A 55% INCREASE

A proposal was submitted to the subcommittees by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB). While IBB proposed a 55% increase, the exact increase rate will be clarified in the UKOME commission, and the new fare schedule will come into effect on January 13.

IF ACCEPTED, A SINGLE PASS WILL BE 31 LIRA

In the current fare schedule, the full fare is 20 lira, and if the proposal submitted by IBB is accepted, as of January 13, 2025, the single fare for public transportation in Istanbul will rise to 31 lira. If the same increase rate is reflected in subscription fees, the subscription fee for 180 tickets will reach 2,433 lira.
