The Hırka-i Şerif located in Fatih was opened for visitation yesterday. Those who wish to see the Hırka-i Şerif, one of the sacred relics, created a crowd today at the Hırka-i Şerif Mosque.

One of the sacred relics gifted to Hazrat Veysel Karani by the will of Prophet Muhammad, the Hırka-i Şerif, was opened for visitation as of yesterday.

The relic, which has been preserved in the Hırka-i Şerif Mosque since 1851, was presented for visitation during the month of Ramadan with great care by the 58th and 59th generation descendants of Hazrat Veysel Karani. Those wishing to see the Hırka-i Şerif and the Sacred Beard formed a queue at the mosque entrance from the morning hours. Visitors to the Hırka-i Şerif experienced emotional moments.

"WE COULDN'T SEE IT IN THE WORLD BUT WE SAW THE HIRKA"

Yahya Türkoğlu, one of the visitors, stated, "We are coming from Düzce. We had the opportunity to visit the blessed Hırka-i Şerif in the early days of Ramadan, thank God. Very different feelings. To see this relic that touched the blessed body of our Prophet is a great happiness for us, as it has been passed down from those days to today."

Seyfettin Engin said, "Thank God. We recommend it to everyone, they should come and see. We couldn't see it in the world but we saw the hırka. May He grant all Muslims to gather under His banner in the hereafter," he said.

"THANK GOD TO MY LORD"

Musa Dikmen expressed his satisfaction with the visit, saying, "Visiting the Hırka-i Şerif gave us additional pleasure. Here, every corner reminds us of our Prophet and Hazrat Abu Ayyub al-Ansari. Thank God to my Lord who unites us under one roof."

Selçuk İlhan stated that they came to visit with a group of 45 pilgrims, saying, "We felt a magnificent emotion. When I came before, it was very crowded; this time it was a blessing to visit in a calmer environment."

"EVERYONE SHOULD COME AND SEE"

Harun Pirçek stated, "Seeing the hırka that our Prophet wore while he was alive is a great blessing for us. Everyone should come and see," he said.

The Hırka-i Şerif can be visited during the month of Ramadan on weekdays from 10:00 to 17:00, and on weekends from 09:00 to 17:30. On the night of March 16, the visitation hours will continue until 03:00 after the Tarawih prayer, and it is learned that it will conclude with a prayer after the afternoon prayer on the day of Arefe. Disabled, sick, elderly, and pregnant visitors will be able to make their visits without waiting in line, accompanied by staff and using the elevator.
