The toll of the airstrike carried out by Pakistan on Afghanistan last night has been announced. Afghan official authorities reported that 25 people, mostly civilians, lost their lives in the eastern provinces of Paktika and Nangarhar, which were targeted in the attacks.
"THEY TARGETED WOMEN AND CHILDREN"
Afghan Government Spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid stated in his announcement that Pakistan is trying to compensate for the security vulnerabilities in their country by targeting women and children.
"THEY KILLED DOZENS OF INNOCENTS"
In a statement from the Afghan Ministry of Defense, it was said, "The Pakistani army, which continues its previous aggressions, has carried out airstrikes on various civilian settlements and a school in the eastern provinces of Nangarhar and Paktika, causing the deaths and injuries of dozens of innocents, including women and children."
"WE STRONGLY CONDEMN THIS ACTION"
The Ministry strongly condemns this action. It is aware that this action is contrary to international law, the principles of good neighborliness, and Islamic values. The Ministry sees defending the country's sovereignty and protecting its people as a religious and national responsibility and will announce a calculated response at the appropriate time.
The airstrikes by the Pakistani army on civilians demonstrate the failure of Pakistani intelligence, and these attacks cannot hide their internal failures," it was stated.
