ERSAY ÜNER'S ATTENTION-GRABBING DEFENSE
Singer Ersay Üner described the panic he experienced in his statement regarding the 2 million 568 thousand 180 TL seized during the search of his home. Üner said, “I experienced a moment of fear. Since I had never encountered something like this before, I panicked and threw the money in the house into the neighboring garden.”
Emphasizing that the money was completely legal, Üner stated that the amount was invoiced and declared by the music company he worked for and that he kept it ready for tax payment. The singer expressed that there was no intention of committing a crime and that the events occurred entirely during a moment of panic.
“I DID NOT USE” DEFENSE FROM OTHER NAMES
The majority of the other famous names who gave statements as part of the investigation stated that they did not use drugs and had no connections. Melek Mosso said that the medications found in her home were prescription drugs, while Simge Sağın expressed that she was unaware of the substance in her bag.
Mustafa Ceceli and İbrahim Çelikkol also emphasized that they had never used drugs in their lives. While some names were released as part of the investigation, judicial control measures were applied to some suspects.
