A student bus crashed into a truck from behind on the Kayseri-Malatya highway. In the horrific accident, a parent of a student on the bus lost their life, and the driver along with 6 students were injured. While teams struggled to rescue some passengers trapped in the vehicle, it was learned that one of the injured had a serious health condition.
A terrible accident occurred in the morning hours at the 65th kilometer of the Kayseri-Malatya highway, near the Bahçecik slope in the Pınarbaşı district. A student service, whose driver's name is unknown, crashed into a truck from behind.
1 DEAD, 1 SERIOUSLY INJURED, 6 INJURED
In the accident, a student guardian, Hasan K., who was in the service, lost his life. The driver D.K., and passengers H.Ö., M.K., H.İ.Y., Ü.K., and R.K. were injured. Upon notification from bystanders, AFAD, gendarmerie, health, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene. AFAD and fire teams that arrived at the scene rescued some passengers trapped in the vehicle. After the initial intervention by health teams, 7 injured, including 1 seriously injured, were taken to various hospitals.
An investigation has been launched regarding the accident.
