It has emerged that the teacher who lost his life in a knife attack at a high school in the Çekmeköy district of Istanbul had said about the attacker last year, "We have no safety."

In the Taşdelen Borsa Istanbul Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School located in Çekmeköy, Istanbul, a knife attack targeting two teachers and a student resulted in the death of 44-year-old teacher Fatma Nur Çelik.

DETAILS EMERGED

While the murder has become a national issue, details of the knife attack have emerged. According to allegations, 17-year-old F.S.B. was released from Bakırköy Mazhar Osman Mental and Neurological Diseases Hospital by his father two days ago. After leaving the hospital, the suspect allegedly checked the school's class schedule to find out when and in which classroom the targeted teacher would be, and planned accordingly.

In the morning, F.S.B. went directly to the classroom. Around 11:00, the attacker entered the classroom and first attacked teacher Fatma Nur Çelik with a knife. During the panic in the classroom, it was learned that 15-year-old student S.K., who tried to intervene, was also stabbed, and teacher Z.A. was injured in the shoulder.

WARNED 1 YEAR AGO

Furthermore, it was learned that the suspect was involved in another fight at the school last year, and the deceased teacher Fatma Nur Çelik had previously stated in a disciplinary board meeting that "We do not feel safe."
