According to a report by CBS News based on unnamed sources, a source knowledgeable about the Trump administration's Middle East policy stated that the Trump administration attempted to communicate with the Syrian government through third parties.
SYRIA'S RESPONSE IS UNCERTAIN
Another unnamed source expressed that communication had been made with the Syrian government regarding the matter, while noting that it is unclear whether the Syrian side responded. Meanwhile, a senior Syrian official, whose name was not disclosed, stated that they were not aware of any contact from Israel or the United States on this issue.
TRUMP'S PLAN TO "TAKE OVER" GAZA AND FORCE PALESTINIANS TO RELOCATE
