'Huajiang Canyon Bridge' was opened today after three years of construction in Guizhou province in southwestern China. It is reported that the bridge has reduced the travel time over the canyon from two hours to two minutes.
The Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge, which rises 625 meters above the Beipan River in the mountainous region of Guizhou, is noted to be approximately nine times higher than the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
