The thieves did not touch the cash and electronic items in the house, but took the box they assumed contained "precious stones." The homeowner later realized that the stolen box contained kidney stones he had kept for medical analysis.
THEY MISTOOK IT FOR ITS COLOR
Due to their crystallized structure and color, the kidney stones resembled pieces of gold or precious metals, leading to the thieves' mistake.
After the incident, the homeowner stated that the stolen kidney stones had no material value, while experts express that it is sometimes possible for kidney stones to resemble precious stones when viewed from the outside.
