"WE WILL CONTINUE OUR INSPECTIONS WITH DETERMINATION"

In a statement regarding the sealing processes, Mayor Özçelik said, "We had stated that we would not compromise on public health. In this context, the inspections of our Zoning Department teams continue to increase. We had previously sealed businesses that sold expired products and operated in non-sterile environments. Again, we detected the sale of expired products in 3 chain market branches and applied the necessary administrative actions. We hope that such practices will be deterrent for all food sellers and producers. I invite business owners to be more sensitive in this regard. We will continue our inspections with determination," he said.
