The global economic crisis has led to the bankruptcy of many companies in Turkey, with the latest addition to the list being Multipak. Multipak, the largest packaging company in Turkey and the third largest in Europe, has officially declared bankruptcy. The giant company, which filed for concordat last year, saw this attempt end unfavorably.
As company bankruptcies and concordat news continue to come in the wake of the global crisis, the latest development occurred with the Multipak brand, which had its concordat request rejected in 2023.
THE GIANT BRAND HAS OFFICIALLY BANKRUPTED
The court issued a bankruptcy ruling regarding the company, which is the third largest packaging manufacturer in Europe. The decision stated that creditors could intervene in the case or file an objection within 15 days from the date of the announcement. It was also noted that the company had laid off a significant number of its employees.

The decision text of the İzmir 2nd Commercial Court included the following statements: "It is announced that the creditors may assert that there is no situation requiring bankruptcy by intervening in the case or filing an objection within 15 days from the announcement of the bankruptcy request between the plaintiff Aydın Uçkan and the defendant Multipak Ambalaj ve Gıda Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş."
