Tension arose in the Albanian Parliament due to the reinstatement of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku. A scuffle occurred between opposition MPs, who occupied the seats of the cabinet members and attempted to block the session by taking over the parliamentary podium, and security personnel. Additionally, some MPs also lit flares.

The Albanian Parliament convened to discuss various agenda items, where opposition Democratic Party (PD) deputies opposed the reinstatement of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku by the Constitutional Court, who was suspended from duty on November 19 due to corruption allegations.

Opposition deputies moved to the seats occupied by cabinet members, blocked the parliamentary podium, and attempted to disrupt the session. A scuffle also occurred between parliamentary security officers and opposition deputies.
