On the first day of Ramadan Bayram, Volkan Konak, who fell ill and was taken to the hospital in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, passed away at the age of 58. The famous artist was buried today under the walnut tree next to his father's grave in his hometown of Trabzon, following the funeral prayer held at noon, in accordance with his last wishes.
The funeral of the famous artist Volkan Konak, who passed away after collapsing during a concert in the TRNC and was taken to the hospital, was brought to his hometown of Maçka in Trabzon after the ceremony held in Istanbul yesterday. As Konak's funeral was brought to the area where the funeral prayer would be held, it was met with applause, and names from the art community and the artist's fans attended the ceremony.

It was untimely. Personally, I lost my brother, but our country lost a great artist, a great value, a great patriot, and a lover of his hometown. May our heads be healthy. It is a very, very great pain and loss that came too soon. I mean, he is a person whose value cannot be expressed in words. May we all be healthy."
