DSP Chairman Önder Aksakal stated regarding the claim that he "offered the chairmanship to former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu," "This is completely fabricated and a false news."
The General President of DSP, Aksakal, held a press conference in the Parliament regarding the agenda.
Evaluating the efforts related to the "Terror-Free Turkey" process, Aksakal stated, "The fact that no development has occurred within the framework set forth by our esteemed President last year only increases the gravity and seriousness of the situation. The Republic of Turkey is not a colony; it is not a state that will be governed by faits accomplis that a political actor tries to concoct, regardless of their position, nor will it be mystified by personal concoctions referred to as 'ancient state wisdom'."
ALLEGATION OF AN OFFER TO KILIÇDAROĞLU
In response to a journalist's reminder of the allegation that he "offered the chairmanship to Kılıçdaroğlu," Aksakal stated that he visited Kılıçdaroğlu due to the illness of his wife, Selvi Kılıçdaroğlu.
Stating that they also evaluated developments in Turkish and world politics during the meeting, Aksakal said, "There was absolutely no offer or similar conversation; this is completely fabricated and false news."
