German marathon runner Dom Stroh ran 5 kilometers in the bathroom during an 11-hour flight.

German marathon runner and content creator Dom Stroh amazed onlookers with his method to maintain his training schedule during an 11-hour flight. Wanting to complete his daily goal of running 5 kilometers, Stroh used the airplane's narrow restroom as a "runway" instead of disturbing passengers in the aisle.

1 HOUR TRAINING IN THE TOILET

In a video he shared on his social media account, Stroh entered the small airplane restroom wearing full running gear and a smartwatch. For about 1 hour, he hopped on and off the toilet seat and spun around, covering a distance of 5.53 kilometers. The athlete, who also shared data from his sports tracking app, completed this "toilet marathon" in 59 minutes and 32 seconds.

SHARED UNDER THE TITLE ''MILE HIGH CLUB''

Stroh humorously noted in his post, "I joined the Mile High Club," and his footage quickly reached millions of views. While some followers admired the athlete's discipline and determination, a large portion criticized this behavior as "unethical."

BACKLASH ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Users, particularly highlighting that the restroom queue is already a significant issue on long flights, accused Stroh of infringing on the rights of other passengers.
