A statement has been made by singer Yusuf Güney, who was found to have used drugs based on hair samples taken from him at the Forensic Medicine Institution as part of a drug investigation targeting famous individuals in Istanbul. Güney stated, "I have done nothing to be ashamed of. You, who are of sound mind, know very well why they did this to me."
Another significant development has occurred in the drug investigation targeting famous individuals conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
'COCAINE' DETECTED IN HAIR SAMPLES
The test results of singer Yusuf Güney, who came to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan on December 22 to give a statement to the prosecutor's office and had blood and hair samples taken at the Forensic Medicine Institution after his procedures, have emerged.
According to journalist Emrullah Erdinç, 'cocaine' was detected in the samples taken from Güney's hair. The forensic report also indicated the presence of benzoilecgonine, a primary metabolite that results from the breakdown of the drug in the body.

After the test results were revealed, Güney made a statement regarding the issue on his social media account, saying: "Now it's my turn to speak… I haven't done anything to be ashamed of. You all, who are of sound mind, know very well why they did this to me. You also know very well the final point we have reached as a community in the ongoing schemes."
