Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has approved the delegation that will represent his country at the Russia-Ukraine peace talks to be held in Istanbul on June 2. The delegation will consist of a number of high-level officials, led by Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
It has been reported that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky approved the delegation that will represent his country at the peace talks between Russia and Ukraine to be held in Istanbul on June 2.
According to a written statement published on the official website of the Ukrainian Presidency, President Vladimir Zelensky made his decision regarding the Ukrainian delegation that will participate in the peace negotiations to be held in Turkey.
DELEGATION APPROVED, NAMES REVEALED
Zelensky signed the decree related to its formation, thereby approving the Ukrainian delegation. Accordingly, it was stated that the following names would be included in the delegation, which will be chaired by Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov:
"Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksandr Bevz, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Navy Command Oleksandr Dyakov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya, Representative of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the System of Security and Defense Sector of Ukraine Yuriy Kovbasa, Protocol Officer of the Support Unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Heorhii Kuzmychev, Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Oleh Luhovskyi, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yevhenii Ostryanskiy, Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Oleksandr Poklad, Deputy Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense (GUR) Vadym Skibitskyi, Deputy Head of the International and Operational Law Department of the Central Legal Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrii Fomin, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of Ukraine Oleksii Shevchenko, Senior Officer of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of Ukraine Oleksandr Sherikhov, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Air Force Yevhenii Shynkarev."
