A 65-year-old man in Kyrgyzstan was trapped for days in a well in his garden. The man, who lives in the Batken region, went down into the 18-meter deep well on March 22 to check the water flow coming to his home. After the ladder he always used broke while he was descending, he was unable to get out of the well and could not call for help for days.
