One of the witnesses of the incident, Ahmet Akan, said, "Wild boar cubs are very cute, but their coming so close makes us worried." Hüseyin Gökçe stated that he immediately opened his phone's camera and recorded the incident when he heard the sounds. Authorities warned citizens to be careful, stating that the number of wild animals struggling to find food in nature may increase as they come down to residential areas.
