A circular was sent to party organizations by MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın on the occasion of the 954th anniversary of the Malazgirt Victory. The circular emphasized that the Malazgirt Victory points to an important historical event in the eternal acquisition of Anatolia and the certification of a thousand-year brotherhood. It was highlighted that this year's celebrations coincide with the steps taken towards a terrorism-free Turkey. The circular listed the points that MHP organizations should pay attention to during the events as follows: "Our responsible organizations, due to being the host, are the provincial chairs of Bitlis and Muş. The organizations that will provide primary support to our provincial chairs of Bitlis and Muş are our provincial chairs of Ağrı, Bingöl, Batman, Siirt, and Van. Participation from provincial chairs outside these provinces is optional.
It is important that our party members and supporters participating in the celebrations reflect the common meaning and value carried by the victory in their behaviors. We have no doubt that our comrades, the beautiful people of our nation, will behave in a manner befitting the honor, dignity, and reputation of Turkey during the celebrations on August 25-26. They will showcase an unparalleled example of national unity and shared destiny in a manner worthy of our national values. Those who attempt to overshadow, darken, or detach from the essence of August 26 will not be given permission or opportunity.
"ONLY THE TURKISH FLAG WILL BE CARRIED"
The program to be held in Malazgirt is a manifestation of a supra-party understanding and sacrifice. Therefore, during the victory celebrations, in which all members of our nation will participate with excitement and enthusiasm, and every level of the state will be represented; party flags, emblems, and banners will not be present. Only the Turkish flag will be carried. During the celebrations, actions will be taken in a disciplined manner, befitting the inclusive atmosphere that the Malazgirt Victory has revealed, and slogans reflecting the Nationalist Movement Party and the Nationalist Idealist Movement will not be shouted.
Regardless of political differences, a complete heart mobilization will be maintained with every brother, every friend, and every citizen, ensuring embrace and unity, and the expectations of brotherhood and national spirit will be fulfilled and expressed with loyalty. Our organizations prepared for participation in the celebration events will inform the participants about this matter in advance, and preparations will be made meticulously. The organizations of the Nationalist Movement Party are obliged to be very meticulous, respectful, and cautious at every stage, including the moment of departure from the program area on August 25-26. Anyone who does not comply will be warned immediately, and necessary precautions will be taken."
