Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 160 suspects have been apprehended in operations against FETÖ in the last two weeks, and 90 of them have been arrested. It was determined that the apprehended suspects were users of FETÖ's encrypted messaging application, ByLock.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated, "In our operations carried out by our police in the last 2 weeks against FETÖ; 160 suspects were apprehended."

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, in a post on his social media account, emphasized that their struggle against those who threaten the integrity of Turkey and the peace of the Turkish nation will continue resolutely, and he stated; "In our operations carried out by our police in the last 2 weeks against FETÖ; 160 suspects were apprehended."
"THEY COMMUNICATED THROUGH PAYPHONE"
160 suspects who are users of FETÖ's encrypted messaging program ByLock, who continued to communicate with individuals within the organization using payphones, and who were involved in FETÖ's foreign ministry secret services structure, current structure, education structure, financial structure, military secret structure, and other secret structures were apprehended by our police. 90 of them were arrested. Judicial control measures were applied to 52 of them.
The procedures for the others are ongoing. In coordination with our Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices and the EGM TEM Department, as well as our KOM and Intelligence Departments; operations carried out by the TEM and KOM Branch Directorates of the Police Departments in Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Aydın, Bartın, Batman, Bilecik, Bursa, Çanakkale, Çorum, Denizli, Edirne, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Gümüşhane, Hatay, Isparta, Istanbul, Izmir, Kahramanmaraş, Kars, Kayseri, Kırıkkale, Kırklareli, Kilis, Kocaeli, Konya, Kütahya, Manisa, Mardin, Mersin, Nevşehir, Ordu, Sakarya, Sinop, Şırnak, Tekirdağ, and Tokat; those with confirmed prison sentences and wanted records were also apprehended. The traps set against the national will are being dismantled one by one."
