Regarding the mysterious death of Güllü, her daughter Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter was arrested on charges of "intentional murder," while her son Tuğberk Yağız Gülter gave a statement as a complainant. A horrifying incident occurred on September 26 in the closed terrace of an apartment on Vali Akı Street in the Harmanlar neighborhood of Çınarcık district in Yalova. The powerful figure of Arabesque music, Güllü (52), fell from the window and lost her life while having fun with her daughter Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter and her daughter's friend Sultan Nur Ulu. In the investigation conducted by the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding Güllü's death, her daughter Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter was arrested for the crime of "deliberately killing a close relative," while Sultan Nur Ulu was placed under house arrest. Güllü's son, Tuğberk Yağız Gülter, gave a statement as a complainant at the Yalova Courthouse regarding the incident.
Gülter stated that he was in Istanbul on the day of the incident. He mentioned that there were frequent arguments between his mother and sister, but these never escalated to physical violence.
"TUĞYAN WILL TURN AGAINST EVERYONE FOR THE MAN IN HER LIFE" Gülter stated that his mother hated his sister's boyfriend, Kervan, saying, "There are a few reasons for this. The first reason is Tuğyan. Tuğyan clears her surroundings for the man in her life. She turns against everyone. I had heard from my mother that my sister was pregnant with twins from Kervan during a period I can't fully remember. I don't know if my sister had a miscarriage or if she had an abortion in the hospital, but I heard about the pregnancy process from my mother in this way. My sister loved Kervan. During my sister's suicide attempt, she went to the window and told my mother, 'You killed me, you embarrassed me.' My sister clears her surroundings for the man in her life," he said.
"MY SISTER COULD KILL MY MOTHER FOR KERVAN" In response to the question, "Could your sister Tuğyan kill your mother for Kervan?" Gülter said, "I don't want to take on the burden, but she could kill for Kervan. Because my sister is a weak character when it comes to relationships. She can do anything for Kervan. It was the same in her previous relationships," he stated.
Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter and Kervan Eminoğlu "I DID NOT ASK TUĞYAN ABOUT THE DETAILS OF THE INCIDENT" Gülter provided information about what his sister told him regarding the events of the day, stating:
"When I asked Tuğyan if she saw my mother fall after the incident, she told me that she saw either my mother's foot or part of her dress while she was falling from the window. She told me this in the first weeks after the incident. I asked her if she saw my mother falling. She said, 'Yağız, I don't remember. I saw either her dress or her foot.' I did not ask Tuğyan about the details of the incident. I didn't ask how my mother got to the window, where Sultan was, or where Tuğyan was standing, or what happened on the day of the incident. I only asked if she saw my mother falling. I also asked, 'The last song that played was not my mother's exit song, right?' She said, 'Yes, Malkata.' I hadn't asked Tuğyan how they played Malkata or who requested it. However, 2-3 days ago, I asked Çiğdem sister questions to clear my doubts, like 'Did my sister listen to this Malkata on other days, why did they play Malkata at the moment of the incident?' Çiğdem also told me that my sister occasionally listened to this song."
"9 OUT OF 10 OF MY SISTER'S WORDS ARE LIES" Gülter noted that Sultan Nur Ulu was afraid to provide a hair sample because she used drugs. In response to the question of whether his sister used drugs, Gülter said, "Let me also say that I know for sure from my mother that Tuğyan has used drugs in the past. I know that my mother worked hard to get Tuğyan to quit drugs. According to Tuğyan, she quit using drugs 5-7 years ago and says she hasn't used them since. However, I must also say this: My sister is a person who lies a lot; 9 out of 10 of her words are lies. She is a person who lies a lot," he said.
"THERE IS NOTHING SHE WOULDN'T DO FOR HER RELATIONSHIP" Gülter also expressed that he had suspicions that the incident could be a murder, saying, "My suspicions would arise and then fade away. I didn't think my sister or Sultan would do such a thing. Because when I watched the videos, my sister was screaming a lot, she was very upset after the incident, constantly screaming, and seeing her sadness made me think she wouldn't do such a thing. However, my sister's personality, as I mentioned above, is characterized by lying, she loves her interests very much, and there is nothing she wouldn't do for her relationship."
"IF MY MOTHER DIED DUE TO MURDER, I AM COMPLAINING ABOUT EVERYONE" Gülter stated that his sister occasionally fought with their mother over Kervan, saying, "She has an angry, aggressive, and quarrelsome nature. Now, considering all the events and Sultan's confession statement, I can't comprehend it; I want to believe that my sister wouldn't do such a thing. I want to believe that these are not real. If she did it, I am complaining. If my mother died due to murder, I am complaining about everyone involved, the one who did it, the one who thought about it, and everyone who was involved in the incident. If there is nothing like this, I hope she proves herself. If there is such a thing, may they lie in their graves for the rest of their lives. Above all, if they come out, they will face me. I want the truth to come to light."
