Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola expressed his pain over the death of innocent people and called for justice and aid for humanity. Guardiola highlighted the impact of wars and genocides on the world. The successful coach stated, "When I see these images, it hurts me. From my perspective, you have to speak out against injustice."

The English team's Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola stated that the killing of innocent people in various parts of the world pains him and that he will always stand up against it.

"OUR ISSUE"

Speaking at a press conference before the League Cup semi-final second leg match against Newcastle United, the 55-year-old Guardiola said, "At no point in human history have we witnessed everything so clearly before our eyes as we do now. The genocide in Palestine, what is happening in Ukraine, what is happening in Russia, what is happening all over the world, what is happening in Sudan. This is our problem as humanity, our issue."

Pep Guardiola pointed out that there is a humanitarian drama occurring in every region of the world, stating, "Not just for the genocide in Palestine, but for any cause that could be better for humanity. There are people fleeing wars, setting out to sea from their own countries, heading to the Mediterranean. Don't ask whether this is right or wrong, just save them. This is a matter concerning humanity. Afterwards, we can reach a consensus on some things or criticize some things. But you have to help them while people are dying."

Expressing that humanity continues to kill each other despite all technological advancements, Guardiola noted:

"It pains me when I see these images. From my perspective, you have to speak out against injustice. Look at what is happening in the US, Renee Good and Alex Pretti were killed. One was a nurse. Imagine the same thing happening in the NHS (National Health Service), five or six people stepping onto the grass, firing ten shots. How can you justify that? If there is a wrongdoing, go to court, file a lawsuit, send them to prison. This is modern society.

When you kill thousands of innocent people, it hurts. I stand up against this, I will always be there. I can't even imagine that no one feels this. Every day when you see those images; fathers, mothers, the lives of children being destroyed. Can't people connect a little? I'm sorry, I can feel this."
