Former AK Party Deputy Mehmet Metiner made a statement addressing the abusive chants directed at Kurdish politician Leyla Zana by the green-white fans during the Somaspor-Bursaspor match. In his post, Metiner warned, "The hate speech that is intended to be raised from the stands is neither individual nor coincidental. The match between Somaspor and Bursaspor in the TFF 2nd League was marked by the chants of Bursaspor fans. Some Bursaspor supporters directed offensive slogans targeting Kurdish politician Leyla Zana.
