The banking sector has undergone a significant change in transaction fees. Commissions charged in various areas, from money transfers to the use of advances, have been completely revised. Here are the current figures.

Changes have been made to the fees applied to all banking transactions. These changes will directly affect the way customers benefit from banking services and their costs. The new tariff, which came into effect in February, shows changes in many fees ranging from automatic bill payments to money transfers.

The daily transfer limit in the FAST system has been increased to 100,000 TL, while the fees have also risen. The fee for transactions made via Fast has increased from 4.66 TL to 6.39 TL. For example, if a transfer of 20,000 TL is made via mobile phone, a fee of 12.80 TL is required, while if made through an ATM, the fee is 44.68 TL.

Fast Mobile/Internet:

16,300 TL: 6.39 TL

6,300-304,800 TL: 12.80 TL

EFT Mobile/Internet:

304,801 TL and above: 159.97 TL

ATM:

1-6,300 TL: 22.33 TL

304,801 TL and above: 319.95 TL

Branch and Call Center:

1-6,300 TL: 31.98 TL

304,801 TL and above: 639.90 TL

CREDIT CARD FEES AND CASH ADVANCE DEDUCTIONS HAVE ALSO INCREASED

Standard credit card fees start from 600 TL. Currently, the cash advance interest rate is 5%, and when BSMV and KKDF are added, the cost exceeds 6%. Additionally, the cash withdrawal limit from the card is limited to only 25% of the card limit. In installment cash advances, banks generally do not process transactions over 25,000 TL. The late payment interest for cash withdrawals can reach up to 5.30% and up to 6.4% with taxes.

INTEREST ON BILL INSTRUCTIONS

When bills such as water, electricity, and internet are paid with a credit card, cash advance interest is applied until the due date of the statement. This rate exceeds 6% including taxes. For premium payments made to institutions like SGK, an additional fee of up to 3% is deducted.

THERE IS ALSO AN INCREASE IN COMMON ATM FEES

Transactions such as withdrawing and depositing money from common ATMs, opening accounts, obtaining account statements, and withdrawing amounts exceeding ATM limits are available. For example, withdrawing money from common ATMs requires a commission of 1.04 TL plus 1.15% of the maximum amount withdrawn. Receiving a monthly account statement by mail incurs a cost of 29 TL. These fees represent a significant cost factor for consumers benefiting from banking services.
