The inflation data to be announced in July will clarify the rate of increase for civil servant and pensioner salaries. According to the Central Bank's forecast, if inflation is 1.61%, it is expected that civil servants will receive an increase of 15.84%, while pensioners will see an increase between 16.81% and 17.4%. EYES ON JUNE INFLATION
According to the Central Bank's market expectation survey; if the June inflation is realized at the level of 1.61%, the total inflation for the first 6 months will reach 16.94%. This means a 10.32% inflation difference for civil servants and a 5% collective bargaining increase. The expected total increase rate will be 15.84%. This increase will affect not only civil servant salaries but also social assistance and compensation payments indexed to these salaries.

HOW MUCH WILL RETIREMENT PENSIONS INCREASE?
According to the 5-month inflation data; SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Pension Fund retirees are entitled to a 15.10% increase. While the June inflation is expected to be around 1.5 - 2, the increase rate for retirees may vary between 16.81% and 17.4% according to expectations. The exact increase rates will be determined by the June inflation to be announced on July 3. If the inflation in June is at the level of 1.5%, retirees will receive an increase of 16.81%. In this case, the lowest pension paid at 14,469 TL will increase by 2,432 TL and rise to 16,901 TL. The average retiree receiving 17,000 TL will see their salary increase by 2,857 TL at the same increase rate, reaching 19,857 TL. A retiree with a salary of 18,000 TL will see their salary increase by 16.81% if the June inflation is 1.5%, resulting in an increase of 3,025 TL. If the SSK and Bağ-Kur pensions of 20,000 TL receive an increase of 16.81%, it will rise by 3,362 TL, bringing the new salary to 23,362 TL.
NEW CIVIL SERVANT SALARY INCREASE CALCULATION
As with retirees, the salary increase calculation for civil servants will be based on inflation. While the inflation difference will be reflected in civil servant salaries, an additional 5% collective bargaining increase will also be applied.
The average lowest civil servant salary will reach 44,000 TL, and if the June inflation is at the level of 1.5%, the increases civil servants will receive, along with the collective bargaining, will be 15.71%.
While the lowest civil servant salary is paid at 44,000 TL, with a 15.71% increase, the current salary will rise by 6,912 TL, reaching 50,912 TL.
Teachers working at the 1/4 degree will receive 52,906 TL, and according to this rate, their salary will increase by 8,311 TL, reaching 61,217 TL.
Police officers working at the 8/1 degree currently receive a salary of 58,910 TL after the last increase in January. According to expectations, the salaries of police officers at this rank will increase by 9,254 TL, reaching 68,164 TL.
A nurse working at the 5/1 degree with a university degree currently receives 53,437 TL, and under a similar increase scenario, their salary will rise by 8,394 TL, reaching 61,831 TL.
