Sad news has come regarding 79-year-old Alzheimer patient Turan Gürsoy, who was reported missing in the Hisar neighborhood of Merkezefendi district in Denizli. His family, unable to reach Gürsoy, had reported him missing yesterday.
AFAD AND POLICE WERE SEARCHING
Following the missing person report, AFAD and police teams initiated a search operation in the area. The efforts, which ended last night, were resumed this morning.
THE BODY WAS FOUND BY THE CREEK
During the search, a person was seen motionless by the creek in the Hisar neighborhood. Health teams dispatched to the area determined that Turan Gürsoy had passed away.
THE BODY WAS TAKEN TO THE MORGUE FOR AUTOPSY
After the examinations conducted at the scene, the elderly man's body was taken to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institution Denizli Group Presidency for autopsy.
