In Bolu, a 67-year-old man, who is alleged to have verbally harassed a 19-year-old male university student sitting on a bench in the park, was assaulted by the young man. Naim A., who was severely injured and taken to the hospital, was intubated, while the suspect young man was detained.

The incident occurred yesterday afternoon in Democracy Park in the city center. According to the allegation, Naim A. approached the university student who was sitting alone on a bench in the park. After chatting with the young man for a while, Naim A. then verbally harassed him. The university student, reacting and getting angry, began to assault Naim A. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification of those nearby.

SEVERELY INJURED

Naim A., who was severely injured from the blows he received, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the initial intervention of the medical teams at the scene. It was learned that Naim A., who was treated in the Intensive Care Unit of Izzet Baysal State Hospital Köroğlu Unit and intubated, is still in critical condition. The university student's procedures at the police station, who was taken into custody after the incident, are ongoing.
