Tensions are rising in the Black Sea. Armed unmanned surface vehicles named 'Sea Baby' belonging to the Ukrainian Navy attacked a chemical tanker called 'DASHAN', which flies the Comoros flag. This adds another incident to the chain of attacks that have been ongoing in the region for two weeks.
There has been a third attack report from the Black Sea in the last two weeks.
ANOTHER ATTACK IN THE BLACK SEA FROM UKRAINE
Armed unmanned sea vehicles (SİDA) belonging to the Ukrainian Navy, named "Sea Baby," attacked a chemical tanker called "DASHAN," flying the Comoros flag.
In the images circulating on social media, it is seen that the attack was carried out by at least two SİDAs. The tanker named "Dashan," weighing 164,608 deadweight, is 275 meters long and 50 meters wide.
AN ATTACK HAD BEEN CARRIED OUT BEFORE
On November 28, two tanker ships named "KAIROS" and "VIRAT," off the coast of Kefken in the Kandıra district of Kocaeli, were attacked.
On December 2, an attack was carried out on the tanker named "MIDVOLGA-2," which was sailing from Russia to Georgia loaded with sunflower oil, 80 miles offshore in international waters.
