A scandal that deepens the pain of the family who lost their 15-year-old son, Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, in a knife attack in Kadıköy has emerged. It has been claimed that a group of heartless individuals attempted to profit from Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi by obtaining a patent for the name 'Minguzzi.' The allegations do not stop there, as it is also reported that a film about Ahmet's life is being made and that a restaurant has been opened.
The process of the Ahmet Minguzi murder case, which is on Turkey's agenda, has turned into a new trauma for the family that is trying to seek justice. According to the records of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, the registration of the name "Minguzi" as a trademark for products such as clothing, shoes, bags, and wallets has caused deep anger within the family.
"THEY MADE OUR LAST NAME A PRODUCT BRAND"
The family reacted by stating that this initiative means "profiting from pain." The family, who said, "They made our last name a product brand," has initiated a struggle not only for justice but also for their name rights.
"I WILL NEVER ALLOW SUCH A THING"
Grieving mother Yasemin Minguzzi reacted to the events with harsh words: "This is unacceptable. They want to profit by using Ahmet's name and our pain. I will never allow such a thing."
The family plans to initiate a legal process to cancel the application in question.
CLAIM OF A FILM ABOUT AHMET'S LIFE BEING MADE
While the patent crisis continues, new allegations that shook the family have emerged. According to a report on Atv Main News, it was claimed that a film about Ahmet's life has been made. However, the Minguzi family stated that they are unaware of both the film and the script.
IT IS REPORTED THAT A RESTAURANT HAS BEEN OPENED
Additionally, Italian-born father Andrea Minguzi reacted to claims that a restaurant named "Minguzi" has been opened in Turkey, stating that he has been working as a chef for years: "We have nothing to do with these matters. They are using our name without permission."
After the death of Ahmet Minguzi, the struggle for justice has now been compounded by a name rights crisis. The family is determined to fight in court against the unauthorized use of the name "Minguzi" as well as in their son's case.
