According to classification details, it was stated that there are betting records in different groups, including 7 top-class referees, 15 top-class assistant referees, 36 category referees, and 94 category assistant referees.
HACIOSMANOĞLU: REFEREES ARE PLACING BETS
Hacıosmanoğlu stated that it has been determined that some referees have placed bets over 10,000 times, 42 referees have placed bets over 1,000 times; and one referee has placed bets over 18,000 times.
PROSECUTOR'S INVESTIGATION AND TFF'S REVIEW
Following the allegations, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation. According to TFF sources, the institution is conducting a review of approximately 3,700 individuals, including referees, observers, representatives, technical staff, players, and managers, since April.
It was stated that documents such as account movements from Spor Toto and relevant state institutions, subscription records from betting sites, MASAK reports, and HTS records have been requested in the investigation; these data will be analyzed to gather information about the existence of betting accounts, frequency of betting, and earnings.
